Facial Rejuvenation

What your session may include

Treatment may include facial and body acupuncture, facial massage, gua sha, gentle facial cupping, auricular acupuncture or acupressure, and focused work for the jaw and neck. The specific combination is selected according to your goals, facial tension patterns, skin condition, comfort, and response that day.

Although the session provides considerable facial stimulation, it is also designed to be calming and restorative. Many people experience it as both an aesthetic treatment and an opportunity to release facial, jaw, neck, and stress-related tension.

Facial rejuvenation is a 90-minute acupuncture and bodywork treatment designed to support the appearance and function of the face while also addressing the jaw, neck, and whole-body patterns that may influence tension, posture, and expression.

Fine, sterile needles are placed at selected facial and body points, and treatment may also incorporate facial massage, gentle facial cupping, gua sha, and other supportive techniques when appropriate. The intention is not to freeze facial movement or create an artificial change, but to encourage circulation, soften overworked muscles, support tissue tone and skin vitality, and leave the face feeling refreshed, relaxed, and more at ease.

One treatment or a series?

A single facial rejuvenation session can still be beneficial. It may be chosen as a restorative treatment, as an introduction to facial acupuncture, or when the face and jaw simply need more focused attention. One appointment can encourage circulation, soften muscular holding, support a refreshed appearance, and provide a deeply relaxing experience.

A single treatment may also be scheduled in preparation for a special occasion. If treatment is planned around an important event, scheduling at least two weeks in advance is recommended to allow any minor skin changes, including the occasional small bruise, to resolve.

A single appointment should not, however, be expected to provide the same results as a structured series. When the goal includes more sustained changes in facial tone, texture, elasticity, or the appearance of fine lines, repeated treatment is generally recommended. The work is cumulative: each session provides another period of stimulation and allows treatment to be adjusted as the tissues and muscular patterns respond.

Repeated facial needling is intended to create gentle, controlled microstimulation that may support collagen-related tissue remodeling, elasticity, and skin vitality over time. These changes, when they occur, develop gradually and vary from person to person.

Your treatment pathway

Single Facial Rejuvenation Treatment
One 90-minute treatment may be scheduled as an individual appointment for focused facial care, relaxation, jaw and neck support, or to experience facial rejuvenation before deciding whether to begin a series. Flexible Treatment Membership credits may be applied toward a single 90-minute Facial Rejuvenation Treatment with an additional $70.

Five-Session Foundation Series
Five treatments are generally scheduled approximately once weekly. Progress is reviewed after the fifth treatment, at which point you may transition to maintenance or continue into the ten-session pathway. Membership credits may not be applied toward this series.

Ten-Session Comprehensive Series
Ten treatments are generally scheduled approximately once weekly, with progress reviewed around the fifth and tenth visits. Additional treatments may occasionally be recommended according to your goals and response. Membership credits may not be applied toward this series.

Maintenance
After completing an initial series, maintenance treatments may be scheduled approximately every four to eight weeks. Frequency is individualized according to your response, goals, lifestyle, and preference.

Botox, fillers, and recent cosmetic procedures

Please disclose all recent facial injections, cosmetic procedures, surgeries, and skin treatments before your appointment.

As a general Sculpt scheduling policy, please wait at least two weeks after Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Daxxify, Jeuveau, or another neuromodulator before receiving facial acupuncture, massage, cupping, or gua sha in the treated areas.

As a general Sculpt scheduling policy, please wait at least four weeks after dermal fillers before receiving facial rejuvenation treatment. A longer interval may be needed depending on the product, injection location, amount used, your healing response, or the instructions provided by your injector.

Treatment should be postponed when an area remains bruised, swollen, tender, inflamed, infected, unusually painful, or otherwise unsettled. Always follow the instructions of the medical professional who performed your procedure.

Recent microneedling, chemical peels, laser procedures, thread lifts, facial surgery, or other treatments may require a different waiting period. Please contact the practice before booking so the appropriate timing can be determined.
